Higher-Ed Accessibility Uncovered

Verbit commissioned a survey of higher-ed professionals and full-time students with disabilities to gain insights on accessibility and inclusion efforts at today’s institutions. 

The survey report uncovered key findings on :

• Accessibility: 74% of students using accessibility tools report their positive impact on their learning and engagement.
• Accommodations: Only 31% of leaders at schools which are adhering to ADA guidelines believe they’re offering students enough accommodations.
• Budgets: 78% of respondents report their institutions use centralized budgets, with the majority reporting them to be ineffective.
• Engagement: 93% are using more videos to engage remote students.
